I am delighted to announce that in conjunction with Ballybane Enterprise Centre that I will be delivering a ‘Create a Website for Your Business using WordPress’ programme in Ballybane Enterprise Centre during January and February 2014. Full details below to include a 40 second promotional video.

WORDPRESS TRAINING – HOW IT WORKS

Attend 4 Group Training Workshops facilitated by Donncha Hughes

DATES: 22nd January, 29th January and 5th and 12th February 2014 ie every Wednesday for 4 weeks

Start Time: 9.30 AM

Finish Time: 1.00 PM …3.5 hour workshops.

Tea/coffee break at 11AM.

Group Size: Min 5 and Max 10 (to include Teams from same business)

One to one session: One hour individual session included

Location: Mervue Suite, Ballybane Enterprise Centre, GALWAY …. home of the SCCUL Enterprise Awards and SCCUL Mentors.

Requirements:

  1. Bring your own laptop (WiFi access provided)
  2. Cost to purchase Domain and Hosting is approximately €60 including VAT. Please bring a Credit Card to make these purchases during the first workshop [unless you already have a domain and/or hosting that you can use – please contact me in advance to discuss].
  3. Information Technology confidence and willingness to learn.
    Wordpress has a ‘learning curve’. It is user friendly and our programme brings you through the process from start to finish. But it does take time and effort. Check out my WordPress training page which talks about being ‘IT Competent’ and what that entails while the Training Workshops page outlines how WordPress can address a multitude of business needs in terms of implementing your digital strategy.

CREATE YOUR BUSINESS WEBSITE

The programme is structured as a ’20 step by step’ process to create a Website using WordPress.Handouts printed two slides to a page in full colour will be provided for reference. This is a ‘hands-on’ (the keyboard) programme.

Every website is different. During the programme you will learn how to leverage the power of WordPress to create a professional site to promote your business. Please note that this is an intensive programme so you will need time to work on your website between workshops – I will be available to support you via email and on the phone as required.

Refund policy

I generally do not make refunds but in the exceptional circumstance that you attend the first workshop and find it was not at all what you expected, then I will arrange a full refund.
